What this job involves: The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. You will work as part of a facilities management team at 3 locations in Jacksonville, FL, playing a crucial role in maintaining safe, functional, and well-maintained facilities that support JLL's commitment to exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
  • Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school, union training, military service or college education
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • Knowledge of building systems and equipment maintenance
  • Previous experience in commercial facilities management
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist the FM team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
  • Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting
  • Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintain appropriate service documentation
  • Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions
  • Work closely under the direction of the Facilities Manager and alongside the Facilities Coordinator and Hospitality Ambassador
  • Oversee PM schedule for all equipment and coordinate/monitor contractor repairs
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process development
  • Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned
