The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for receiving and processing work orders, assigning them to appropriate technicians or crews based on their availability and skillset, monitoring the progress of work orders, and communicating updates to customers and field personnel, ensuring timely completion of tasks while optimizing efficiency and resource allocation; essentially acting as the central hub coordinating all aspects of a company's service work orders. This includes understanding all the work order systemâs aspects and features including but not limited to inventory management.
