About The Position

Modula Inc. is seeking a motivated Facilities Maintenance Co-Op to support building maintenance and facility operations at our Franklin, OH manufacturing facility. The Facilities Maintenance Co-Op will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced technicians to support preventative maintenance, troubleshoot facility systems, and assist with building infrastructure projects.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a skilled trades, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing program
Basic knowledge of building operations, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance principles preferred
Exposure to electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems through coursework or hands-on lab experience strongly preferred
Understanding of basic tools, equipment, and safe construction/maintenance practices
Ability to follow technical instructions and learn building systems, repair procedures, and maintenance best practices
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn in a hands-on industrial environment
Ability to work safely and adhere to PPE and safety protocols
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

Assist with preventative maintenance on facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
Support troubleshooting of basic mechanical and electrical issues
Assist with minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacements
Support installation and repair of lighting, outlets, and general building components
Perform general facility upkeep tasks (doors, docks, racking, etc.)
Shadow experienced technicians to learn diagnostics and repair techniques
Maintain safe work practices and proper PPE usage
Help document maintenance activities and service logs
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility
Other duties as assigned.
