Facilities Maintenance Associate| Temple, Texas|Now Hiring Compensation: $27.17$-$30.24 per hour Available Shift: 7:45am-4:15pm (Monday-Friday) TEXT TO APPLY NUMBER: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repairs as needed. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to changing lights, unclogging drains, repairing leaks. Coordinate with external contractor for specialized repairs or projects beyond routine scope. Start up and shut down plant systems including generators, air compressors, cooling towers, and chillers. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues. Operate maintenance equipment such as lathes, mills, welders, drill presses, and hand tools. Utilize computer-based systems to locate spare parts and generate maintenance reports. Maintain required personal hand tools and ensure proper tool use and storage. Maintain accurate records and complete time reports. Assist electricians and other team members when needed. Train and support less experienced employees as assigned. Comply with safety procedures and utilize all required PPE. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-based problem solving. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or certification in industrial mechanics from an accredited institution. Proven mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Basic electrical troubleshooting skills preferred. Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documents and instructions. Working knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools. Welding experience is a plus. Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and man/scissor lift operation certification or willingness to obtain. Factory environment with potential exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery. Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and perform physical tasks for extended periods. May be required to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience with repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team. Strong communication and time-management skills. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. #INDFGR
