Facilities Laborer - Hotel Shop - The Cosmopolitan
About The Position
As a Facilities Laborer at The Cosmopolitan, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the property. You’ll provide general assistance across multiple areas, helping keep the facility running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. All duties are performed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and departmental policies, ensuring the overall integrity and high standards Aria is known for. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment
- Knowledgeable of the type of equipment and materials used by facilities/maintenance technicians preferred
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

Responsibilities
- Complete all work assignments as directed by Dispatch or Management and maintain accurate logbooks
- Collect, transport, and deliver required parts, materials, and equipment to designated work areas, as well as demolition and cleanup on construction projects
- Operate motorized and power equipment, fuel and service engineering vehicles, maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room
- Pick up parts and supplies from vendors and keep the maintenance warehouse clean and organized
- Maintain constant awareness of cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
