The Facilities Interior Attendant primary function is to keep facilities clean, safe and in an orderly condition while responding to direction from supervisor, management, and executive staff. A Facilities Interior Attendant can expect to perform heavy cleaning duties including, but not limited to, hard and carpeted floors, walls, glass, removing rubbish, operating equipment of all sizes and event set up and willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential (attendance is a significant consideration in this job classification). As a Facilities Interior Attendant, you will: Interact with the public consistently and daily Provide high level of customer service Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks and countertops Replace supplies in the bathrooms (toilet paper, paper towels, soap) and wipes down surfaces. Empty all trash cans, replace lines, and clean receptacles as necessary. Place full trash bags 55-gallon bucket on castes. When full wheel to dumpster chute for disposal. Cleaning windowsills and windows. Maintain janitor closest in a clean safe and operable condition. Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals. Always wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment. Wipe down any tables in the area; rearranges chairs and mop up any spills that may occur. Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings and events as necessary. Make one trip through assigned section every 30 minutes including checking the rest rooms. Be properly equipped with dustpan, broom, putty knife, cleaning rags, and spray bottle always Will be required on occasion to work facilities exterior personnel functions as needed.
