This Facilities HVAC Technician D will coordinate work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate program requirements.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License, and a satisfactory driving record, as conditions of initial (and continued) employment.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills
• Microsoft Suite basic skills
• Good interpersonal, and communication skills
• Experience working with engineering blueprints, process specifications and building layouts.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC requests for 3.5M SF in 75 buildings spread across 5 locations in Brevard
• Basic computer skills
• Use tracking software to ensure components are accurately installed, tracked, etc.
• Interface with all levels of the organization to report on HVAC issues
• Role is customer focused; metric driven and has an expectation of timely completion and close out of Work Orders.
• Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously.
