About The Position

The Facilities & Equipment Maintenance supervisor is knowledgeable of local building codes, OSHA, State and Federal health and safety regulations. Demonstrates supervisory skills in leadership, communication, staff development and customer service, while supervising and coordinating the day-to-day work of employees/vendors who repair and maintain facilities, equipment, and machinery.

Requirements

  • High School diploma , GED, Vocational, or technical training in facilities maintenance, building systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in facilities, building, or equipment maintenance.
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience overseeing staff, contractors, or vendors
  • Experience in facilities telecommunications.
  • Experience with Direct Supply TELS.
  • Intermediate computer skills. Familiarity with MS Office software, Basic computer proficiency for communication and work order documentation.
  • Knowledgeable in all phases of construction and building maintenance. Working knowledge of basic building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
  • Ability to interface with all types of mechanical and construction contractors.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Successful completion and/or certification through an accredited facilities management training program.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory requirements (e.g. OSHA)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements.
  • This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
  • Ability to report to the assigned work location(s) as scheduled and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
