The Facilities Equipment Installation and Construction Engineer leads complex site development projects for semiconductor manufacturing facilities, focusing on infrastructure construction and specialized equipment installation. This role ensures technical excellence, compliance with industry standards, and timely delivery of projects supporting advanced manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the construction of critical facility infrastructure, including cleanrooms, process utilities, and high-purity systems.
  • Oversee installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and integration with facility systems.
  • Develop project scope, budgets, and schedules for large-scale site development initiatives.
  • Coordinate EPC contractors, equipment vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards for equipment installation, vibration control, and contamination management.
  • Partner with operations, EHS, and supply chain teams to align infrastructure and equipment readiness with production timelines.
  • Manage permitting, safety, and environmental compliance for construction and installation activities.
  • Implement best practices for reliability, redundancy, and sustainability in facility design.
