The Facilities Engineer position includes overseeing maintenance of existing buildings and equipment, as well as planning, budgeting, and scheduling of facilities modifications. A working knowledge of facility sub systems is required such as HVAC, electrical distribution, process cooling water systems, compressed air and gas distribution systems. The Facilities Engineer will oversee the installation, maintenance, performance, modification and economical operation of facility equipment and infrastructure. Requires direct interface with other diverse functions and groups, such as, supply management, security, safety, environmental, and business continuity teams, etc. This position will report to the Facilities Manager and will operate with minimal supervision The successful candidate will be involved in maintaining, troubleshooting and improving all aspects of a semiconductor manufacturing facility’s campus and Class 1 cleanroom infrastructure. These responsibilities would include, but not limited to the following: high voltage power distribution, substations, standby/emergency generators, UPS systems, fire alarm & life safety systems, building automation, data centers, HVAC, make up and recirculating air units, variable frequency motor drives, large HP motors, toxic gas monitoring, high purity bulk gas and ultra-pure water generation and distribution systems, general, acid, ammonia, and VOC incinerator / exhaust systems, process cooling water system, installation and uninstallation of semiconductor process tools and support systems, waste water treatment plant operation and chemistry. Understanding of TS16949, ISO 18001, OHSAS 14001, CFATS, & CVI certifications is a plus.
