About The Position

You will be the Facilities Engineer for the Facilities Engineering team. Our team is responsible for planning, designing, and executing the transformation of Lockheed Martin’s physical assets to support mission‑critical operations. As the Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for delivering safe, cost‑effective, and schedule‑driven facility solutions that enable our programs to succeed. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering or related experience.
Facilities engineering experience
Proficient in communication and coordination between Program Leadership and Contractors.
Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

Lead planning and design of facility reconfigurations, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and mission requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and develop detailed cost estimates for equipment, installation, labor, and materials.
Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to create design criteria, layout, and detailed construction drawings.
Prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, and manage contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
Oversee construction inspections to verify adherence to drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
