About The Position

At The PAC Group (PAC), we specialize in engineering consulting, program management, and operational excellence—delivering high-impact solutions in more than 20 countries. We’re proud to partner with the world’s leading companies in automotive, aerospace, industrial, and technology sectors, providing strategic guidance and hands-on execution that drive innovation and efficiency. Whether we’re launching advanced manufacturing systems, deploying digital simulation tools, or scaling global operations, PAC thrives at the intersection of technology, engineering, and problem-solving. Joining PAC means joining a dynamic, fast-paced, and global team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Electrical Facilities Engineer bridges the gap between high-level facility infrastructure and the specific power needs of new manufacturing technology in the fast-paced environment of a new automotive product launch.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical distribution systems, preferably within a manufacturing or large-scale industrial environment.
  • Mastery of electrical distribution systems, including high/medium/low voltage (e.g., 480V, 13.2kV), transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers.
  • Deep knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E (electrical safety), and local building codes.
  • Critical for identifying the root causes of electrical faults during fast-paced pre-series production launches. Ability to translate technical jargon into layman's terms for architects, project managers, and contractors.
  • Managing timelines, budgets, and technical hand-offs to assembly plant teams.
  • Meticulous to ensure compliance with safety standards and document precise maintenance procedures.
  • The capacity to work effectively under the pressure of a new product launch and handle evolving manufacturing requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for generating schematics and electrical layouts.
  • Ability to use software for performing arc flash evaluations, short circuit studies, and load calculations.
  • Experience with Predictive Maintenance techniques, maintenance management systems, and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Design & Modification: Develop engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for new process equipment installations. This includes power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems.
  • Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the site preparation and machine installation for new model programs. Manage technical hand-off to assembly plants, ensuring all hardware meets all standards.
  • Launch Support: Directly support launch site activities, including monitoring power management systems and troubleshooting electrical faults during pre-series production.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, and local building codes. Also develop operational test procedures and maintenance documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure the facility layout supports the manufacturing line's capacity and flow.
