Applicants must be actively enrolled in a college or technical school. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate service or replace electronic devices and systems. · Install network cables and networking devices. · Working with voltages including 120, 240, 277 and 480 3 phase systems. · Determines need for, analyzes and makes necessary running adjustments, repairs and overhauls. · Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation and electrical inspection work to be performed. · Installs, repairs and maintains power distribution cables splicing pieces as required. · Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables. · Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. · Fabricates parts if not commercially available using machine and hand tools common to the trade. · Notifies coworkers of potentially dangerous electrical equipment. · Prices and orders supplies for jobs and assures appropriate supplies are stocked. · Adheres to safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations. · Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
