About The Position

Facilities Electrical Engineer will be responsible for PLC/HMI program development for engine-dyno testing support systems, Dynamometer systems troubleshooting/upgrades, pollution abatement control systems and EQO office reporting. This also includes performing project management responsibilities for above application related capital projects. The Vehicle Evaluation and Verification team in Product Development is responsible for the signoff of vehicle systems and subsystems to meet engineering requirements by performing development and durability testing at multiple testing laboratory sites. The Engine Labs Facility Engineering activity which is part of VEV powertrain is looking for a detail oriented, self-starter to join our team. The prospective engineer will be responsible for the successful design, automation and delivery of facility engineering tasks/projects in support of automotive engine & powertrain development and validation testing at the Dynamometer Laboratory building, and Research & Innovations Center Dyno/Components areas.
