Summary The Senior Facilities Cost and Control Analyst is responsible for financial oversight, planning, and reporting for MTV’s construction and facilities programs. This role independently manages capital and expense controls, ensures compliance with corporate financial requirements, and provides accurate forecasting and budget management for construction projects. Partnering closely with Facilities Construction leadership, this position plays a critical role in enabling capital efficiency, supporting site development, and driving data‑driven financial decisions across the facilities organization.

Requirements

  • Financial & Analytical Skills: Strong experience with cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
  • Systems & Tools: Proficiency with Excel and experience working with enterprise financial systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, or equivalent).
  • Collaboration & Influence: Strong ability to work cross‑functionally and lead financial processes without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments, capacity planning, or fab‑related financial models.
  • Facilities & Construction Knowledge: Experience supporting facilities construction, installation projects, or industrial infrastructure cost models.
  • Advanced Systems Expertise: Experience with SAP PS, PPM, FMS, CALM, project scheduling, and progress tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial oversight for Facilities Construction spending, ensuring compliance with departmental and corporate requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain capital and expense budgets for construction projects using SAP, CALM, FMS, or other payment systems.
  • Prepare monthly capital requirements, cash flow forecasts, GR plans, and scenario‑based financial analyses.
  • Monitor project budgets for Basebuild and Fab expense programs, including monthly reviews, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Identify, track, and report capital savings opportunities using market conditions, historical costs, and benchmarking data.
  • Support scenario planning by estimating construction and tool installation costs and assessing financial impact.
  • Establish financial milestones for major construction programs and track progress against plan.
  • Prepare and deliver financial status reports and insights to Facilities and site leadership.
