About The Position

The Cost Control Analyst I plays a key role in supporting project financial performance. This role is responsible for preparing labor and expense plans, forecasting costs using established accounting and project management systems, and processing project billings. The analyst will also support client billing activities and perform thorough reviews of assigned projects’ overall financial status to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of related professional experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Foundational understanding of accounting standards and principles
• Ability to work effectively under established deadlines, particularly during financial close periods
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy
• General knowledge of financial, accounting, and administrative processes

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Deltek Vision accounting software (preferred)
• Experience with PMWeb project management software (preferred)
