About The Position

A Facilities Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of Forcepoint’s facilities. This position will oversee the physical infrastructure, plan and manage maintenance and repairs, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and create a comfortable environment for employees and visitors. In addition, in this role you will be supporting the maintaining of the company’s access control systems globally (HW and software). You will work alongside internal teams and external vendors to assist with facility updates, equipment layouts, and small-to-medium improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Comfortable handling routine tasks independently, with guidance available for more complex work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Availability for after-hours emergency response, as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field - preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in facilities management, security operations or a similar role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in access control system administration (e.g., Genetec, Lenel, or similar platforms) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Austin office to ensure a smooth, safe, and professional working environment.
  • Work with ERP system to create POs, track invoices, and support budget monitoring for office expenses.
  • Oversee routine preventive maintenance and ensure that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are in good working order.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs and troubleshooting (if needed outside of normal working hours).
  • Coordinate renovation or remodeling projects as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage external services (cleaning, electrical, etc.) to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee the building’s security systems (e.g., surveillance cameras, alarm systems) and manage access control.
  • Regularly audit and update access records to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Ensure the facility complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes, health regulations, and environmental laws.
