About The Position

Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to perform non-technical light maintenance, housekeeping, occupancy and custodial duties under direct supervision. This person will be expected to be in-office located in New Orleans, LA. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Daily Activities: Performs housekeeping functions and maintains the professional appearance of the office, kitchen areas and restrooms outside of Landlord's required scope. Report any issues related to landlord; the scope of work is to be submitted by email work order to Landlord. Perform follow-up of any items sent to Landlord for attention Assist with Facilities Requests: Routine locker maintenance for PALIG personnel: maintain inventory/assignments, perform minor repairs, change batteries and assist with lockout Routine conference room maintenance: clean tables, reset chairs, restart television screen, etc. Daily receipt of packages, verify property counts and deploy to appropriate locations Maintain fully organize supply storage and inventory Inventory Management (kitchens/break rooms): Maintain weekly kitchen supply stock, place orders, and receive and verify order validity Keep all kitchens in pristine condition and presentable at all times. Stock supplies and rotate stock (snacks, coffee, all kitchen necessities) Monitor for any excessive use of supplies Manage inventory of storage rooms, ensure contents are accounted for and orderly at times Organize Office Events: Act as the main contact with any scheduled in-office events. Approves schedules in order to ensure we have the needed configuration pieces available. Setup and breakdown tables, chairs, tablecloths for employee events. (includes all executive boardrooms) Clean tables and send tables cloths to dry cleaners for cleaning and return to storage Vendor Assistance: Assists Landlord maintenance staff, and company vendors as requested to perform works within the office. Escort vendors as directed and review completed work. Maintain a presence with vendors as no vendor is to be left alone on premises. Perform Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General maintenance knowledge
  • Experience supporting events, office moves, or workplace accommodations
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with vendors, employees, etc.
  • Comfortable making decisions to support operations and safety
  • Able to collaborate with other departments to address workplace and facility needs.
