Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, technical operations, or testing environments
  • Experience supporting electrical labs, motor testing environments, or similar technical facilities
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards required
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and security systems a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance, renovation, construction, and repair of facilities and equipment
  • Monitor building systems to ensure utilities and preventive maintenance programs are operating effectively
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility safety, coordinating safety programs, inspections, incident follow-up, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety policies and regulations
  • Develop space plans and support current and future facility requirements
  • Prepare cost estimates and evaluate completed work for quality and compliance
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure facility compliance with OSHA regulations, supporting inspections, maintaining records, and coordinating corrective actions
  • Identify and implement minor process and system improvements
