About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator performs to the following tasks: Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in good condition. Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and issues in a timely manner. Liaise with external contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and services. Ensure the facility complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards. Liaison with the leadership team to implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in planning and executing office moves, renovations, and reconfigurations. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Advise management, when necessary, supplies and materials needed. Maintain records of inventory levels and usage to forecast future needs of supplies/tool for facility. Communicate effectively with management regarding facility matters. Coordinate with other departments to support organizational activities and events. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare regular reports on facility operations, maintenance status, and project progress. Coordinate MHE inventory and validate monthly inspection/invoices for PM schedules, review and record keeping of forklift inspections log. Ensure all emergency systems (e.g., fire alarms, sprinkler systems) are functional and regularly tested. Promote and implement sustainable practices to reduce the facility's environmental impact. Identify opportunities for energy conservation, waste reduction, and resource optimization. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Knowledge of facility management principles and practices.
  • Ability to coordinate within budgets and negotiate with vendors.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office operations)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three years or more related experience in a 3rd party logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
