About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator I is responsible for general maintenance and equipment repair for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, covering multiple facilities including Robertson, Wilshire, La Cienega, Cedars-Towers, and other sites as required. Responsibilities

  • Provides basic building maintenance and repair to include: plumbing maintenance and drain repair; electrical and lighting system repair; furniture and office equipment repair; wall cover repair to include painting and texturing, etc. Advanced level maintenance and repairs will generally be performed by the Facility Coordinator II.
  • May assist with maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
  • May coordinate and schedule contractors' services when scope of work requires outside services.
  • Assists in the disposition and control of inventories allocated to warehouse storage.
  • Provides minor janitorial support as necessary for the sanitary delivery of clinical services.
  • Coordinates room set-up and preparation for meetings and other events.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
