Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or facilities cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, walking)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments
  • Familiarity with safety-sensitive or regulated workplaces
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Experience working around electronics or precision equipment

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas daily
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces
  • Empty trash, recycling, and properly dispose of waste materials in offices and in the manufacturing areas
  • Restock consumables (paper towels, soap, cleaning supplies, etc.)
  • Clean manufacturing floors, assembly areas, and workstations in accordance with site guidelines
  • Remove debris, dust, and non-hazardous waste from production areas
  • Run the floor sweeper through Manufacturing as needed to ensure a slip free clean environment.
  • Maintain the exterior areas, ensuring there is no debris or maintenance issues in the exterior areas of the operation.
  • Ensure all equipment is in clean working order, in collaboration with the facilities team.
  • Assist the materials team in line side supply of consumables and PPE as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements
  • Use approved cleaning chemicals and tools properly
  • Report safety hazards, spills, or facility issues to Facilities or Operations leadership
  • Maintain compliance with company policies related to defense manufacturing environments
  • Maintain safety center stock levels, ensure eye wash stations are clean and ready daily, inspect fire extinguishers and other safety systems or equipment.
  • Assist with light facility tasks (moving furniture, setting up rooms for meetings and team events, minor organization)
  • Support special cleaning needs for inspections, audits, or VIP/customer visits
  • Coordinate with Facilities or Operations staff as needed
