About The Position

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking to fill a Facilities Cleaning & Maintenance Assistant role responsible for the custodial, grounds keeping and light maintenance of New Trail Plaza, a BRAND NEW apartment community located in Sarasota, FL. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to perform general custodial duties.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to operate machinery, tools and equipment necessary to perform the porter’s duties including: hand tools, pressure washer, hand blower, etc.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).
Drug-free workplace

Prior custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
Perform such functions as clearing debris from grounds, cleaning office and common areas.
Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
Light Maintenance tasks i.e. changing light bulbs, air filters, clear clogs, etc.
Perform other general janitorial and basic maintenance duties as assigned.
