About The Position

Maintains the facilities, equipment and grounds of and industrial property. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Maintenance Inventory Software, Work order System software Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors, walls, ceilings and equipment with hand tools and mechanical means
• Mixes and uses approved cleaning chemicals and water
• Dust equipment and walls including high dusting using hand tools and or a vacuum cleaner
• Operates floor cleaning machine
• Properly handle and dispose of cleaning solutions
• Clean outside areas of trash and other debris
• Performs other chores as required
