About The Position

Stanford Health Care’s Facilities team is looking for a reliable and customer‑focused Dispatcher / Call Center Representative to support our overnight (graveyard) shift. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact when urgent facility issues arise—helping ensure a safe, comfortable, and well‑functioning environment for patients and staff. When something needs immediate attention—such as a room spill, an air conditioning issue, or a TV not working in a patient’s room—you’ll play a critical role in getting the right help dispatched quickly.

Requirements

  • Previous call center experience (high‑volume environment preferred)
  • Comfort handling urgent or time‑sensitive requests
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
  • Reliable and comfortable working overnight shifts
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Menlo Park

Nice To Haves

  • Dispatching experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage a high volume of incoming service requests via phone and system tickets
  • Dispatch facility and maintenance teams based on urgency and priority
  • Communicate clearly and calmly during time‑sensitive situations
  • Accurately document requests and update work orders in real time
  • Provide professional, empathetic customer service to hospital staff and clinical partners
