Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! - As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, engineers, you will be responsible for implementing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance requests required to support a rocket manufacturing, testing and launch facility. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of industrial maintenance with emphasis on specific trade area(s) of facilities building systems. We are seeking a Facilities Associate Technician (Level II) to join our Facilities Operations team located in Van Horn, Texas. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance and operations
  • 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
  • 1 year of experience in a role that requires the use of IBM Maximo software suite
  • 1 year of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • TCEQ Class D Water Operator License preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining safe and operational facilities for our internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance and repairs of the facilities, space management and directly supporting the facilities operations during testing and launches.
  • Respond to facilities requests promptly using the maintenance and operations work order system; work orders are accurately inputted, scheduled, closed, and tracked with communication to the requestor
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with facilities staff, without direct supervision on some assigned projects
  • Assists in making recommendations and implementing improvements
  • Move and arrange furniture and equipment; set up facilities for special events, testing and launches
  • Supports and coordinates the processing of routine requests to meet customer needs
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities systems or processes
  • General Knowledge/Experience with Potable water, Firewater Distribution Systems
