About The Position

Evangel exists to connect real people to a real God. We are one church in multiple locations including campuses in Bismarck, Garrison, Online and more to come! The church is about one person, Jesus, but it is composed of many different kinds of people, and we are always looking for quality people to join the team.

Position Summary
The Facilities Assistant is under the direction of the Campus Pastor and Central Facilities Manager and is responsible for performing the following duties: custodial, ground maintenance, and room/event setup and teardown.

Requirements

• Be a dedicated follower of Jesus and an active Evangel attender
• Attend weekly leadership and staff meetings
• Physically able to lift and move furniture often
• Strong organizational, people, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean floors
• Restroom cleaning
• Equipment Cleaning
• Waste removal
• Window Cleaning
• Support ministry activities by performing room/event setup and teardown
• Manage snow and ice removal
• Assist with Spring landscaping
• Manage routine maintenance (AC filters, Fire suppression checks, etc.)
• Assist with remodel as needed
• Lawn and garden care
• Tree and bush trim
• Become knowledgeable of the location of all emergency shut off valves and related emergency procedures
• Performs other duties as requested
• Manage the set-up and tear down of weekly ministry events
• Be available to assist in cleaning/maintenance during key weekends
• Ex. (Easter, Christmas Eve)
