Manage Maintenance staff in order to ensure quality maintenance is being performed, both inside and outside on the property. This would include, but not limited to interior finishes such as carpeting, painting, tile work, wood work, accent lighting, etc., supporting mechanical equipment such as HVAC/R and equipment related to heating throughout the property, furniture restoration, carpentry and property grounds maintenance, ponds and water features, etc. Responsible for the overall integrity of shift operations, ensures compliance of all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and policies and procedures (OSHA) Respond to all emergencies per established procedures, provides expertise, and supervises team members and resources in the event of a chemical or hazardous waste spill or other deemed emergencies. Manage daily preventive maintenance schedules for both the environmental and facilities departments, including the coordination of workflow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction. Manage departmental staffing needs, including new team members on-boarding, training and development, mentoring, and performance management. Oversees vendors and contractors and supervises their activities Communicates to other casino departments of work requests and projects Participate in discussions and decision making in regard to capital expenditure requests, operating budgets and extraordinary expenditures. Complies with established methods, procedures and safety guidelines required to maintain desired standards, and monitors results through an inspection process. Assist with meeting facilities budget, as well as purchasing of necessary parts and materials. Approves PTO and manages team member attendance Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Five years’ experience in building maintenance management and an associates’ degree from an accredited college or university in building maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, skill, and experience.
  • Must possess hands-on maintenance skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Understands building automation software.
  • Experience in managing a team of maintenance professionals and qualified contractors.
  • Must be able to manage and operate within assigned budgets
  • Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Provides coaching and counseling to team members.
