About The Position

The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor will assist in leading our general maintenance team and painters in a 24-hour operation. Work closely with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance procedures and projects for the terminal and catering facility, focusing on safety, efficiency and client satisfaction. The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor will primarily work during the day but must be available to support overlapping shift work – specifically on 3rd shift. The supervisor, in coordination with the manager, will verify and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and customers by OSHA and Airport Policies.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, facility management, engineering or building construction or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
3-5 years of facility management experience.
Proficiency in MS programs - Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word.
Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) system.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising, mentoring, guiding and directing employees in a similar job group.
Proven ability to manage by influence and ability to build and maintain credibility.
Proven interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate in oral and written forms effectively and efficiently, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress, offering solutions to resolve issues.
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
Pass a drug test
Pass a Keystone Management background check
Pass a Federal Aviation Administration background check
Pass a driving history check
Possess a current driving license
Reside within 40 minutes of the work location.

Professional Certifications (CMRP or HVAC) a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance technicians and painters.
Conduct daily facility inspections to identify necessary repairs.
Train and lead team members in preventive maintenance and repairs.
Communicate and enforce workplace safety precautions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor inventory, order supplies and coordinate with outside vendors.
Manage building projects and ensure quality control.
Communicate effectively with clients and address their concerns.
Participate in management meetings and provide project updates.
Identify opportunities for improvement of the facility and the facility maintenance program.
