About The Position

Tommy’s is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Project Manager to provide technical troubleshooting support while managing external vendor relationships and leading facility-related projects from initial assessment through resolution. The Facilities Project Manager exercises independent judgment in evaluating site conditions, determining corrective actions, managing project scope and cost controls, and recommending long-term facility and equipment improvements. This position plays a critical role in protecting brand standards, operational efficiency, and customer experience across company and franchise locations.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree or equivalent formal training/certifications and experience required
  • Experience with metal building systems: commercial, industrial, greenhouse or carwash facilities.
  • Experience with commercial MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
  • Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office; experience within database systems: Jira and Zendesk a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data-backed decisions

Responsibilities

  • Provide carwash facility troubleshooting and technical support to customers and franchisees.
  • Manage external vendors for building maintenance and repair services.
  • Oversee facility issues from initial assessment through quoting, procurement, and repair.
  • Lead projects to ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely completion.
  • Document and track facility issues to identify equipment or design improvements.
  • Communicate identified improvement recommendations to architectural, construction and project management teams.
  • Coordinate repair quotes and orders with internal client services, purchasing, and accounting teams.
  • Develop facilities and maintenance bulletins for internal/external distribution.
  • Collaborate effectively with management, sales, and manufacturing teams.
  • Travel to sites nationwide for assessment and coordination as needed.
  • Deliver consistent, professional customer service.
