About The Position

The San Francisco Giants are looking for a full-time Facilities Administrative Assistant to work in the Building Engineering Department. In this position you will have the unique opportunity to be an integral part of the maintenance, operation and inner workings of the ballpark. You will work cross functionally with other departments ensuring the ballpark is in the best shape it can be ensuring a great guest experience. The ideal candidate will have great organizational skills, be an excellent communicator and take accountability on projects from initial ticket receipt to customer follow-through. An interest in facilities operations is a plus. This role reports to the Operations Manager in Engineering and is located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco. The Ballpark Operations department is made up of the Engineering, Security, Maintenance, Grounds, and Ops teams. All of these groups are an essential part of the event day experience. Requirements

  • Associates degree or higher, preferred but not required
  • Flexible schedule – this role will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season and for event coverage
  • Data entry experience
  • Knowledge of Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Filing experience
  • Good grammar and English composition

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of computer maintenance management systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the 24/7 work order system
  • Intake and process incoming maintenance requests
  • Generate event work orders from Staffing Timelines
  • Oversee time tracking related to Special Events
  • Generate monthly PM list from work order system
  • Communicate via two-way radio as needed
  • Review and process parking requests
  • Perform duties such as general office clerical duties including but not limited to typing, filing, answering the telephone, greeting visitors
  • Conduct SDS (Safety Data Sheet) research and process updating as needed
  • On occasion assist the V.P of Ballpark operations & Facilities with administrative assignments
