About The Position

Temp To Perm LK Jordan has an immediate opening for a Fabricator located near the AT&T center. This organization is looking for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast paced, team environment. This is a long-term, temp to hire opportunity. Typical schedule is 6:30am-3:00pm, or 2pm - 11pm Monday - Friday. Previous metal fabrication experience is a PLUS and pay starts at $17.00 - $23.00 DOE!

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience or six months of experience with related trade school certification.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more frequently.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous metal fabrication experience is a PLUS

Responsibilities

• Examine specifications of order using blueprints, drawings, and/or work orders, to determine characteristics of finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
• Ability to select appropriate tools and equipment needed to fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications.
• Examine work piece visually, by touch, or using tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.
• Ability to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Utilize a press brake machine to bend and shape sheet metal.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
