The Fabricator is responsible for cutting and finishing solid surface and laminate countertops.

Requirements

Good communication skills
High attention to detail and the ability to exercise good judgment
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and follow job plans and instructions (CADs and blueprints)
Ability to use and read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch with accuracy and precision

Nice To Haves

Handheld polisher and basic hand tools
High school diploma
General carpentry knowledge or experience

Responsibilities

Perform full-cycle fabrication of solid surface and laminate countertops, including cutting to size, cut out sinks, assemble miters and finish with end caps
Repair chips and re-finish edges when required
Review and follow all job plans and instructions as listed in SPS
Update all inventory logs and paperwork to maintain up-to-date inventory
Maintain an efficient, organized and clean work area
Adhere to all safety policies and standard operating procedures to ensure the safety of self, team members and company property
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
Scan barcodes before starting and after completing of processes
Pre-inspect materials before processing and double check material
Pull measurements for accuracy
Perform other tasks as assigned.
