Monogram Foods Solutions is a leading manufacturer and marketer of value-added meat products, snacks and appetizers. Monogram specializes in strategic co-packing, private label and branded business, with both owned brands and licensed brands. Monogram’s broad portfolio of products includes beef jerky, bacon jerky, turkey jerky, meat sticks, pickled sausages and pickled eggs, smoked sausage, hotdogs, pre-cooked bacon, bacon, corndogs, mini corndogs, pancake and sausage, potato skins, onion rings, breaded cheese strips, cheese curds, jalapeno poppers, breaded mushrooms, breaded vegetables, and other value-added foods. Position Summary, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to the following: Meeting demands and completing work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating items and components out of metal and various materials; assists other trades personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities, while ensuring safety as well as resolving immediate safety concerns. Must be able to work weekends and over time as required. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows: Safety is critical. 65% involvement with fabrication of required plant supporting equipment’s and associated systems to improve operational efficiency & safety of plant processing capabilities. 15% Complete corrective maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance work orders. 15% Assist other crafts personnel with equipment repairs and troubleshooting 5% Food safety, Health safety, & technical training to employees Fabricates and maintains welds on various items using a variety of processes (manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, sheet metal, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items. Preventative and predictive maintenance along with assisting in the trouble shooting and repairs of non-scheduled break downs. Review work orders and preventive maintenance work orders and prioritize. Review shift operations with Supervisor. Conduct Repairs and Preventative maintenance to assigned equipment. Complete required daily paper work and turn in to the active supervisor. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or new ones may be assigned by Management at any time with or without notice. Wear appropriate PPE- frock, gloves, ear plugs, slip resistant boots, must be able to wash and sanitize hands to meet GMP Standards Complete Certification in Lock Out Tag Out

Requirements

High School Grad or GED Required
At least 2 years of responsible metal fabrication experience
Operate equipment used in welding and metal fabrication including band saws, grinders, break, shear, drill press, chop saw, plasma cutter etc.
Planning and managing assigned projects
Preparing and maintaining accurate records
Adhering to safety practices
Demonstrate good judgment
Must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative
Good attendance is mandatory
TIG, MIG, Purge Welding, and Brazing
Ability to visualize a project from start to finish
Use of all metal working equipment
Mechanical systems – air, hydraulic
USDA, HACCP, OSHA, & EPA Regulations
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Sanitary / purge welding experience with stainless steel, light gauge materials highly preferred, but not required.
Preferably Bilingual but not required
