SCOPE: Perform duties to set up, change over and operate the complete range of equipment and machine tools in an assigned area to process materials into parts for the assembly of custom vehicles, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate basic fabrication equipment such as Mills, brake press and saw.
  • Use measuring equipment to hold specific tolerances.
  • Must be able to read blueprint information for layout work to complete tasks on specific machines.

Responsibilities

  • Work from shop orders, specifications, prints and instructions.
  • Receive and process raw materials or in-process parts through any range of operations to suit product specifications.
  • Set up, change over and operate the complete range of equipment, machine tools.
  • Position processed material on designated cart system and move to succeeding operations as required to facilitate production flow.
  • Perform visual and dimensional check of work to verify parts are to specification.
  • Blue print reading, understand basic math, including decimal, fraction and angle dimensions.
  • Follow E-ONE General Health & Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility, and notify coworkers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions.
  • Responsible for the quality of work.
  • Able and willing to work in other areas as needed.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of products and processes to better serve customers and improve the overall profitability of E-ONE.
  • Positive working attitude toward other employees; be a team player.
  • To daily utilize your skills and experience to eliminate waste and continually improve your process.
