About The Position

The Fabrication Utility is responsible for working across multiple areas in our Fabrication Department. The ideal candidate will have a versatile skill set, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to various roles as needed. The role involves supporting various teams in ensuring smooth operations and assisting with tasks as required across different areas of Fabrication such as Laser area, Deburring area, and Machining Center.

Requirements

Willingness to learn new tasks and skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Work environment includes exposure to a variety of tools, equipment, and components
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Great work ethic and attendance
High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

Assist in a variety of tasks across different areas
Interpret assembly instructions to assemble products
Safely operate hand and power tools
Inspect finished product for quality in adherence to specifications
Provide backup support for team members when necessary, ensuring minimal disruption in workflows
Conduct visual inspections of parts and completed products for defects or damage
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other machining equipment as required
Work with a team of utility and operators to meet fabrication goals and deadlines
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any product-related issues
Comply with all company policies and industry regulations
Additional duties as assigned
