In the Fabrication Technician – Powder Coat role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials onto the powder‑coat line. You may also operate the powder‑coat booth to apply powder coatings according to customer specifications, inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality and customer requirements, and consistently uphold high standards to achieve production and quality goals. Contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work environment by following all safety policies, wearing required personal protective equipment, operating equipment properly, and completing 5S tasks. Use travel documents, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions to load, unload, set up, and operate the powder‑coat line. Maintain the expected workflow and progress of assigned jobs, communicating any concerns as needed. Proactively identify process‑improvement opportunities and perform root‑cause analysis to resolve issues related to quality or production. Ensure product quality by measuring finished parts using a tape measure and/or calipers, visually inspecting materials, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors. Cross‑train and provide coverage for other team members or functions as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
