INTERCEPT – 2ND Shift 3:30P-12A M-F Position Summary The purpose of this position is to complete glass units to specifications of daily orders. TRAINING MAY OCCUR ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT FOR UP TO ONE MONTH.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED (minimum)
Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
Basic computer skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Word software preferred
Must have good communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Be vigilant about safety
Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift during the shift
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
Must work effectively in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Must be able to wear all required personal protective equiment(PPE) and comply with safety policies

Responsibilities

Follows specific requirements of a particular job order.
Fabricates according to daily production requirements.
Communicates and instructs entry level glass employees in various phases.
Follows specific directions from Glass department supervisor and see that these directions are carried out.
Make sure area is kept organized and 5S procedures and policies are followed.
Audit completed product to assure it meets order requirements and YKK quality standards.
Communicate non-conforming product issue to Manager / Supervisor.
Set up machines and equipment.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.
