FABRICATION TECHNICIAN 1 Patio Door -2nd Shift M-F 3:30pm-12am Position Summary The purpose of this position is to be able to perform the job duties listed below. TRAINING FOR THIS SHIFT MAY BE ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT FOR UP TO ONE MONTH. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities Fabricates doors and frames for vinyl extrusions using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, vertical welders, corner cleaners, double miter saws, etc., as well as milling machines. Identifies and tags material with a written symbol for assembly and inspection. Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations. Fit and assemble components. Performs all general production work as required. Additional duties may be assigned. Physical Requirements Job requires constant lifting up to 50 and 75 pounds Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time. Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling. Qualifications and Skill Requirements High School diploma or general education degree(GED), required Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling Good communication and organizational skills Good math skills Be vigilant about safety Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.06 to $19.04, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications

Requirements
