Job Title: FABRICATION TECHNICIAN I Accessory, SDL & Screen 1st shift: M-F 5A-1:30P Position Summary This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the fabrication and assembly of components for various departments.

Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Good math skills
At least two years of manufacturing experience preferred in a fabrication or production environment
Good communication and organizational skills
Be vigilant about safety
Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift during the shift
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
Must work effectively in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with safety policies.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of manufacturing experience preferred in a fabrication or production environment

Responsibilities

Use hand tools such as tape measure, drills, saws, air staplers, milling machines, CNC machine, Coping Machine, etc. to supply components for door and frame assembly.
Fit and assemble components.
Identifies and label material for assembly and quality inspection.
Comprehends and completes assembly on a sequence of operations.
Perform all general production work as required.
Additional duties may be assigned.
