Job Title: FABRICATION TECHNICIAN I Accessory, SDL & Screen 1st shift: M-F 5A-1:30P Position Summary This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the fabrication and assembly of components for various departments.

Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good math skills
  • At least two years of manufacturing experience preferred in a fabrication or production environment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Be vigilant about safety
  • Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift during the shift
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Must work effectively in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with safety policies.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of manufacturing experience preferred in a fabrication or production environment

Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools such as tape measure, drills, saws, air staplers, milling machines, CNC machine, Coping Machine, etc. to supply components for door and frame assembly.
  • Fit and assemble components.
  • Identifies and label material for assembly and quality inspection.
  • Comprehends and completes assembly on a sequence of operations.
  • Perform all general production work as required.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
