About The Position
the fabrication technician is not a welder but should be able to locate maintain and organize raw material through all areas of the fabrication Weld shop the ideal fab tech should be able to read and comprehend blueprints manufacturing instructions can safely operate the plasma table bandsaw brake press and blast booth.
Requirements
- high school diploma art GED
- two years of fab shop experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- read and comprehend manufacturing instructions, bill of materials
- perform various processes throughout manufacturing work centers
- ability to safely operate various hand and power tools
- operating an overhead crane in pallet Jack
- follow safety rules and or guidelines while performing daily work
