About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication Supervisor to lead our Fabrication department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervision and sheet metal fabrication. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate activities of the fabrication team, including machine operators, helpers and support personnel; provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team performs efficiently and on schedule Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring schedules are met and products meet engineering and quality specifications Work closely with Production Planning and the Assembly Supervisors to assure both their needs are met on a consistent basis. In cases where this is not the case, identify root causes and develop solutions to improve the process so that they are Ensure all components meet standards; conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high levels of product quality Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with company policy, regulations and protocols. Ensure that all fabrication equipment is properly maintained and serviced; coordinate with maintenance personnel to address any machinery issues that may affect production Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Analyze production data to make informed decisions for department Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies to avoid production interruptions Maintain accurate records of production activities such as work orders, quality reports, and safety logs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus Experience in sheet metal fabrication in a manufacturing environment Experience in supervisory roles in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment (e.g., brake press, punches, welders, folders, lasers, cnc machines) ERP systems experience and proficiency a plus Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Ability to use measurement tools and software

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication in a manufacturing environment
