About The Position

Fabrication Specialist Team Lead Company: The Boeing Company Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC) is currently seeking a Fabrication Team Lead to join our Second Shift team in North Charleston, South Carolina. The IRCSC Fabrication Team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality interiors components by leading a collaborative, customer-focused team that drives productivity and continuous improvement. Join us to lead a dynamic team, influence daily operations, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Position Responsibilities: Lead and model a positive and productive culture on second shift, providing clear direction and holding the team to high standards Coordinate priorities across shifts by connecting with First Shift on hot items, planning daily work, and providing clear turnover via email and handoff Lead daily operations including Tier 1 meetings and assignment of daily work packages, ensuring execution of a unified one-team plan Monitor performance and manage overtime balance by understanding JBS metrics, communicating triggers, and developing overtime plans while emphasizing recovery solutions beyond overtime Promote continuous improvement by leading EI/Kaizen meetings and representing First Line Leader in Tier 2 meetings: supporting cross-training plans, including knowledge of all workstations within the work cell and being able to back-up teammates Own safety and quality processes by encouraging submission of SATs/MAXIMOs, ENABLON Hazards, scrap tags, NCRs, IPCs, and MRS forms

Requirements

  • 3+ years of manufacturing, aerospace, or fabrication experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams in a formal and/or informal leadership roles
  • 1+ year of experience with shop floor processes and procedures

  • Background in safety and quality process ownership
