Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets is seeking a Fabrication Specialist (Control Panel Builder) in our Global Equipment group located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Fabrication Specialist will perform skilled manufacturing functions related to fabricating, wiring, troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing of electrical equipment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Electrical Degree or Certification OR 3 years equivalent experience in light industrial control panel building
- Experience reading and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, production drawings and Bills of Material
- Experience wiring to code
Nice To Haves
- Other equipment manufacturing skillsets (examples: welding, pipefitting, construction)
- SAP knowledge
- PLC experience
- Good verbal communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work proficiently alone, or with a team, to meet project deadlines
- Proficiency with electrical and shop hand tools (examples: Multimeter, drills, saws, knockouts, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (examples: Internet, e-mail, Teams, etc.)
- Good troubleshoot techniques
Responsibilities
- Panel Building Lay out, assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical panels from blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
- Maintain a working knowledge of electrical certifications (UL, CE, CSA, NFPA 508A, etc.)
- Perform interconnecting wiring on final equipment assembly
- Troubleshoot and repair refurbished electrical equipment
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish
