We specialize in high-quality fabrication projects, maintaining a commitment to safety, efficiency, and precision. We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Shop Supervisor with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to lead our shop team. We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Fabrication Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in metal fabrication, welding, and forming processes who can motivate a team to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, or a related trade.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding procedures, and shop equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to enforce safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in welding, fabrication, or related fields.
  • Experience with CNC Press Brakes, CNC Lasers, CNC Turret Punch.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the fabrication shop.
  • Oversee workflow from raw material intake to finished product.
  • Assign and manage tasks for fabricators, welders, machinists, and support staff.
  • Enforce safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines and resolve production issues.
  • Maintain inventory levels and equipment functionality.
  • Implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
