Hit delivery schedules while managing labor costs and maintaining output-per-person standards? Keep safety, housekeeping, and compliance at the highest levels—every shift? Coach a team, plan overtime, and uphold discipline when needed—while building trust? Partner daily with Customer Service and the Warehouse to deliver on-time, every time? Troubleshoot fabrication challenges alongside the Branch Operations Manager and prevent recurrence through continuous improvement? Your impact Own day-to-day shop-floor operations across production and quality control. Provide leadership, guidance, and training on equipment, software, policies, and procedures. Track, analyze, and report operational metrics and KPIs; remove bottlenecks from the schedule. Monitor daily machine maintenance and handle basic equipment setup; support maintenance of production equipment. Ensure rigorous quality control; perform audits and report findings to the Branch Operations Manager. Represent the facility in regional and/or national quality initiatives. Manage resources and consumables to meet plan. Cover additional assigned responsibilities in the manager’s absence. Jump in as needed to perform fabrication tasks: operate material handling equipment, load/unload pipe, and band bundles for shipment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience (manufacturing preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and sound independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration.
  • Intermediate PC proficiency.
