About The Position

Parallel Employment group in partnership with a manufacturing customer in the Arcade, NY area are looking for Fabrication helpers for a 1st shift role. In this role you will be supporting fabricators and welders by preparing materials ensuring a efficient workflow and operation basic tools. In this entry level role, you will gain hands on experience in metalwork, and is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grown and gain experience in the manufacturing field Shift: 1st Shift Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00

Responsibilities

Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to conform to customer specifications
Daily usage of measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges and tape measures
Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner
Read blueprints and shop plans
Help develop designs for welding projects
Use a variety of tools and equipment
Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management
