About The Position

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a manufacturing customer in Arcade, NY are looking for a Fabricator and Fitter for both 1st and 2nd shift. I this role you would be responsible for cutting and identifying tubing diameter and fittings to conform to specifications, using calipers, tape measures and height gauges and working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Shifts: 1st and 2nd Pay Rate $24 to $26 and hour Depending on Experience

Requirements

• Read basic measuring devices.
• Cut and form tubing and other fittings.
• Willingness to learn - required.
• Work in a fast pace environment.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in math - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to conform to customer specifications
• Daily usage of measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges and tape measures
• Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner
• Read blueprints and shop plans
• Help develop designs for welding projects
• Use a variety of tools and equipment
• Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management
