The Fittings Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory of fittings and pulling fittings for orders to supply material handlers through data lookup. This role also requires cross-training across company departments based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Knowledge of using measuring instruments
- Knowledge of fittings
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must be able to bend, squat, twist and kneel
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Pull fittings for order to go to prep inspection shelves
- Maintain and check inventory
- Use math to calculate cut-length
- Review orders
- Reconcile computer inventory with actual
- Return job to Planning if necessary & get account of current inventory
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Escalation of discrepancies to Planning Department
- Safeguard & ensure proper material to order
- Enforce discipline when people ask for more fittings without approval
