Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of experience in textiles
Knowledge of fabric construction, finishing, washing
Must have clear understanding of fabrications and qualities.
Strong written and verbal communication
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong problem-solving skills; able to proactively recommend solutions.
Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Highly motivated, ability to prioritize workflow, and have good time management skills.
Enthusiastic and team-oriented

Responsibilities

Attending meetings with design/merchandising, sales
Daily meetings with the head of the department
Ordering proto and sample yardage
Create fabric charts and assist all fabric development from L/D, Y/S to sy stage
Daily communication with mills, vendors, and factories
Attending fabric appointments
Maintain and organize fabric library - file lab dips, sy, linings.
Managing tailoring charts, binders, working with NY factories on urgent tailoring samples.
